the Rad Mag recommends ways to keep loving your zine after you’re done reading.
If you’re not saving her forever because she’s the best thing you’ve ever read, and all of your friends totally fell in love with her already, the Rad Mag recommends using these brightly colored pages to make something new!
Supplies:
-back issue(s) of the Rad Mag or any fun paper
-glue or tape (a glue stick works great)
-scissors
-staple remover
Instructions:
You can use these tips to turn any fun paper into little gift bags. The result is adorable as heck goodie bags!
Start by removing the staples from your zine and cut the pages in half.
I used this tutorial by Easy Origami and Crafts on YouTube to learn how to fold the grocery bag style version of these upcycled bags. After folding a couple, my fingers totally got the hang of it and I made them faster with each.
Look at the all the stuff you can fit in this little dude!

A quicker version, for less things or flat only things, is the flat bag. This bag starts with the same paper tube in step one of the tutorial above, followed by only one fold and two glue swipes. It turns out, I can’t stand how cute these are. Everyone I know is getting stickers and tiny art in these adorable bags.

Scrapbooking scissors can be used to give the top of the bags a little flair, hiding any uneven edges in the process. I love paper crafts. It is a beautiful and forgiving medium.
