the candi presents blog has moved to tumblr! this promises easier blogging which equals more blogging which leads to tons more shiny, happy, awesomeness!

Poor Thanksgiving, always lost in a retail frenzy between Halloween and Christmas. I am determined to make my Thanksgiving everything it is meant to be: beautiful, tasty, full of friends and family I am so grateful for, and of course, a whole lot of shiny awesome.

Candi Presents’ Thanksgiving Giveaway is full of pretty pieces to give your table a little extra pop to kick start this holiday season!

The place cards are bordered in gold and adorned with glittered bronze and gold leaves. These cards can be used as place cards, title cards for your extra fancy dishes (show those in-laws what you’re made of), or used as ‘I am thankful for…’ cards. Each guest can write what they are thankful for and share them at the dinner table (I see massive scrapbooking opportunities in your future).

All of these pieces can be used in so many ways! Tables prinkles can be tossed about in the center of your table to showcase  your deliciuos meal. They can also be used to fill vases for big or little flowers. Six pumpkins can be spread about for a little extra glitz. Have six or less people at your table? Each plate can have its own adorable pumpkin!!

Halloween just can not come fast enough for me - I love it like a fat kid loves cake. (I also love cake... but that's another blog.)

Zebra Bags: (frosted, plastic) all are on sale, my fave buy for party bags are the 16x6x2 Mini Pk - you get 25 bags for $13.60!!

Presentation Boxes: (for gourmet treats and gifts) they have so many pretty designs. My favorite buy is the Mini Pk Solid Red Medium Square with Polka Dot ribbon - 3 for $9.59!! (I might be a little biased... I have a soft spot for polka dots. They make me extra happy.)

When a bestie came to me looking for tags for bachelorette party bags I totally jumped at the idea!! How cute, right?! Each girl was getting a little naughty night out swag bag – absolutely adorbs. Brainstorming, we realized, I could provide bags too!

This project was so much fun and gave me the opportunity to use my super cute new kiss stamp (from Paper Source, duh).

Christmas in July makes me so happy!! [jingle]

Etsy's Christimas in July promotion sales are about to start! Items tagged as Christims in July do not need to be Christimas themed... but, anyone who knows me knows I just can't help myself. The holiday season is my absolute favorite. Everything sparkles: the snow, sky, ribbons, and treats. Everywhere you look during the holiday season you are bound to get a little something shiny in your eye. Zero thought went into what to tag for my Christmas in July promotion... duh, new Christmas awesomes! Here's a little taste of what I've been working on:

Those teeny tags? Those are treat tags. A little background:

.

My mom is the treat master, and she's super adorable about it. For every holiday, all of her nieces and nephews always get little goodie bags, easter baskets, etc... and a special treat. Like bunny shaped rice crispy treat pops complete with frosting faces, wrapped in cellophane. Adorbs. It's totally in my blood. Now, my sister has started making cake pops and asked me to make some sample tags for her  (check her out on facebook at Lady Cakes ~ basically the tastiest tiny treats ever) so... I kind of have treats on the brain. This is why you will start to see these teeny tags by Candi Presents. Of course these can be used as gift tags, wine glass tags, even napkin rings/place settings [light bulb!] You can hang them from your face if you like. In fact, I encourage such things.

Hello hello hello!! The blog, she has been redefined and the site, she has been made over because, really, there just was not enough sparkle going on. [rectified]

Just a few fabs: 1. new tags are going up on Etsy - a few romantic-y gothic-y flairtastic pieces that I'm pretty sure you're going to love. 2. thanks to another fantastic workshop at Paper Source the card making ideas are in full bloom - super awesome stuff is coming this summer!
